Tuesday was the second day of the class 3 boys golf state championship. The Hornets sent Jackson Trout and James Mathew to Sedalia for the tournament
After day 1, Trout and Mathew were middle-of-the-pack with 86 and 89 respectively.
Day two at Sedalia Country Club saw Trout complete his round in 82, leaving him tied for 36th at 28 over. Mathew finished the second day of the championship with a 96 which had him tied for 68th in the tournament at 44 over.
Head Coach Jim Wheeler said he was, “very proud” of the way the two handled the pressure.
