A budget update was presented to the Chillicothe R-II School Board this week. Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers says he is still working on the budget, including the areas of Minimum Salaries and Career Ladder.
Wiebers says the state is supplying partial funding in those areas.
The Career Ladder includes the state providing 60% of the funds. The program is open to teachers after two years.
