The allocation of $1.977 million in ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds was approved by the Chillicothe City Council. City Administrator Roze Frampton says there are several projects, including:
An Ambulance and equipment
Simpson Park and Danner Park Playgrounds
Security cameras at the parks and the airport
Demolition
Storm Water
Tennis Court revitalization
Parking lots at Danner Park and City Hall
Body Cameras for Police
Storm Siren
If the city approves the Strand Hotel project, the $218,00 for the mortgage would come from ARPA funds.
