A former Bishop Hogan student, Evan Deshayes, son of Heather and Jon Deshayes of Minnesota, completed his Eagle Scout project at Bishop Hogan Memorial School. Evan was a former student of Bishop Hogan before he moved out of state. He obtained donations to complete landscaping with rock and pavers around the flag pole in front of the school. He also had a stone bench engraved in memory of the late Zach Holland to place in front of the flag pole area.
The dedication of his project and a large American flag was presented to Principal Pam Brobst on the last day of school, while the Bishop Hogan students looked on. Scout leaders, fellow scout members, and Evan’s family attended the dedication ceremony.
