A training session on the Historic Preservation of buildings was hosted by Main Street Chillicothe. Director Tomie Walker says the program provided guidelines and examples of historic preservation.
The program was presented via the internet with Randy Wilson of Community Design Solutions. Walker says Wilson provided his expertise as those attending walked through images of buildings and scenarios.
The class helped those in attendance learn what to look for, a direction to move towards, and to identify concepts that work and that may not be appropriate.
The program was recorded and will be available through the Main Street office.
