The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 106 calls for service Thursday. The report includes an unattended death.
11:37 am, a vehicle accident was reported near Third and Wilson Street where a vehicle struck and damaged a parking sign at the street edge. Minor damage.
6:27 pm, Officers responded to the area of Gale St. and Martin St. on a report of a careless and imprudent driver. Officers located the vehicle at 29 3rd St. Witnesses signed a complaint and a report was taken.
9:14 pm, Leaving the scene accident reported in the 500 block of S. Washington Street. Information obtained and report taken.
11:00 pm, Officers received a call reporting that they had not seen a neighbor for a while The home in the 1400 block of Clay Street was checked and officers discovered the 54-year-old male was deceased. Investigation at the scene indicates possible drug activity. Livingston County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene and took custody of the body. The investigation continues.
