The public is invited to the showing of the movie Selma on Sunday at 3:00pm on the second floor of the Livingston County Library. The event is part of the Friends of the Livingston County Library kicking off their “One Read” Program.
Shelly Turner with the Friends of the Library explains the plot of the movie “Selma”.
There will also be popcorn available.
The film had four Golden Globe Award nominations including Best Motion Picture Drama, Best Director and Best Actor, and won for Best Original Song. The film won in the same category at the Academy Awards.
