12:59 AM Officers attempted to stop a vehicle traveling at 70 MPH in the 25 MPH speed zone on Washington Street near the 3rd Street. The vehicle failed to yield, maintaining its speed until reaching the 500 block of Business 36. Officers arrested a man for excessive speed, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, C&I driving, and driving while intoxicated. He posted bond and was released.
02:28 PM Officers attempted to serve a warrant near Arthaud and Stewart Streets. The man had 3 warrants for multiple counts of trespassing and fled from officers on foot. He was later located and was taken into custody. He is held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
Monday:
9:07 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Clay St. A 42-year-old woman was arrested for obstructing police and resisting detention. She was transported to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail.
8:02 p.m., a 60-year-old woman at the police department reported a domestic assault. While officers spoke with the victim a suspect was identified and arrested. While officers were processing the suspect the victim declined to proceed with pressing charges. The suspect was released pending charges.
10:13 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Washington St. Upon investigation Officers discovered that the driver of the vehicle had a suspended license. A 22-year-old woman was arrested for driving while suspended, cited and released.
