“Air Irish” too much for Hornets Football

St Joseph Lafayette’s passing attack was too strong for Chillicothe Friday night. The Irish starting quarterback Daeton McGaughy went 15 for 20 for 172 yards and five touchdowns in a 56-6 win over Chillicothe on Lafayette’s Homecoming.
McGaughy connected with Derrick May for two touchdowns in the first half, connected with Miles Henderson for two touchdowns in the second quarter. Henderson also had a pick six on defense. McGaughy had a touchdown run and threw a touchdown pass to an unknown receiver.

After the second McGaughy to May touchdown, Chillicothe’s Isaak Rasche took the kick off 80 yards down the sideline for Chillicothe’s only touchdown to make the score 14-6 early in the second quarter.
Chillicothe again had turnover problems. They lost 3 fumbles and threw two interceptions in the game.
