The Chillicothe Police handled numerous calls Monday and Tuesday
Monday,
12:52 p.m., Officers responded to the 200 block of Crescent Dr. for an abandoned vehicle, facing the wrong way on the street with flat tires. Officers towed the vehicle.
4:49 p.m., a 29-year-old woman came to the Chillicothe Police Department to turn herself in on a warrant for her arrest. Officers arrested the woman, who was able to post bond. She was released with a new court date.
6:30 p.m., Officers responded to the 1200 block of Monroe St. for a physical assault in progress. Officers were advised three women fled the scene in a dark sports vehicle. Officers located the vehicle near the intersection of Walnut St. and Bryan St. A report was taken and the investigation is continuing.
Tuesday:
07:50 a.m., Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash. The officer found a semi collided into the rear of a minivan. No injuries were reported and vehicles were not towed. A crash report was taken.
2:00 p.m., Officers responded to the 1700 block of Southwest Dr. for an 18-year-old man with a Livingston County arrest warrant. A search resulted in Officers locating a controlled substance. The man was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
6:45 p.m., Officers responded to a 2 vehicle crash in the 700 block of Woodward St. Officers determined that one of the vehicle’s parking brake had failed. Both vehicles were unoccupied and no injuries occurred.
9:55 p.m., Officers assisted Livingston County Deputies with serving an arrest warrant in the 11000 block of Old Highway 190. The suspect refused to exit the residence and was taken into custody shortly after with no incident.
