The Little Otter Creek Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention job has begun. The engineering studies estimate, that when full, the reservoir would provide a water supply of 1.2 million gallons a day. The contractor will be moving 1,127,000 cubic yards of fill for the project. Creating a permanent pool of water covering 344 acres at the surface. An 81-foot-tall and 2400 feet long dam will collect water from a drainage area of 7.5 square miles or 4,825 acres.
