The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 80 calls for service on Saturday. They included:
5:05 am, Reported suspicious activity in the 1100 block of Calhoun Street. Negative findings.
11:35 am, Officers performed a wellbeing check on an individual in the 400 block of Locust St. The subject went to stay with a friend.
6:45 pm, investigated a reported burglary and theft from home in 800 Block of Samuel. Investigation continuing.
8:40 pm, Officer received information of possible mistreatment of a resident in a local nursing home. investigation continuing.
10:55 pm, Officers arrested Michael Gilchrist following a traffic stop for a registration violation. Gilchrist had a suspended drivers license and there was no insurance on the vehicle. Gilchrist was arrested, cited for the three violations and released.
