A head-on collision near St. Catherine late Thursday night left one driver with serious injuries. State Troopers report that 29-year-old Daniel P Alberts of Brookfield was flown to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries. According to the report, Daniel Alberts was eastbound on Jaffa Road (a gravel road) and collided head-on with a westbound vehicle driven by 19-year-old Amos J Alberts of Brookfield. Amos Alberts was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield for treatment of minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing safety belts.
