Bridge rehabilitation projects in Carroll County scheduled to start next week have been postponed by MoDOT and contractors.
Crews from Capital Paving and Construction, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will begin work on the first two bridges on Monday, Aug. 15:
US 24/Benton Street over US 65 in Carrollton
Aug. 15 – November
One lane, each direction, will remain open throughout construction
US 24/65 over Moss Creek Drainage Ditch, approximately 4 miles south of Missouri Route 10
Aug. 15 – December
The road will be narrowed to one lane only, with temporary traffic signals directing motorists through the work zone.
Crews will be working five days each week but work zones will remain in place around the clock. Some work may take place on Saturdays.
The remaining five bridges in the project will be completed in 2023 as previously scheduled.
