Sullivan County
The Sullivan County voters cast their ballots in the Missouri Primary. There was one contested race in the county office.
For the Republican ballot for Clerk of Circuit Court, Melissa Jo Vandusseldorp won with 492 votes to Seth Oaks with 437 votes.
In Linn County
25% of Linn County voters cast a ballot in the Primary. There were two contested races in the primary.
For Presiding Commissioner – Republican – Dick King won with 710 votes to David Hannink with 504 and Burnie Hicks with 404. King will face Democrat Lonnie Trentham in the November Election.
For Marceline II Committeeman – Democrat Mitch Wrenn with 23 votes defeated Terrence Fiala with 17 votes
In Caldwell County
41% of Caldwell County voters cast a ballot in Tuesday’s primary
Contested races for county offices include:
Presiding Commissioner – Republican – Dale Akey won with 1249 to Christopher Kipp with 755.
County Clerk – Republican – Jamy Aubrey won with 934, Jean Gardner with 715 and Christine Owen with 486

Nearly 27% of registered voters cast a ballot in the primary election. There were NO contested races in the County.
In Daviess County
Just over 30% of registered voters in Daviess County cast a ballot in the Missouri Primary. There were NO contested races in the County.
In Grundy County
Nearly 36% of registered voters in Grundy County cast a ballot in Tuesday’s Primary election.
There was a contested race for Presiding Commissioner on the Republican ballot. Phillip Ray won with 1083 to Bill Wilson with 738.
