Nearly 150 calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Department officers Friday. Some of the calls include well-being checks, domestic disturbances, and motorist assists.
9:45 a.m., Officers responded to the 1700 block of Jennings Place on a report of property damage. Officers found two vehicles had their tires slashed. A suspect was identified and the investigation continues.
4:39 p.m., Officers responded to a business located in the 1300 block of Washington St. for a stealing report. The investigation is continuing.
4:56 p.m., Officers arrested a 20-year-old man after he turned himself into the Police Department on a Livingston County arrest warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to wear a seatbelt and a Grundy County arrest warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to register motor vehicle,. He posted the required bond and was released.
11:15 p.m., Officers responded to the 1100 block of Jackson St. to assist the US Marshals with an ongoing investigation from an outside jurisdiction.
