The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 114 calls for service on Friday.
8:22 AM, Officers responded to the 1100 block of Cooper Street for a report of Suspicious Activity. Upon arrival, Officers observed an open door of an abandoned house but no subjects were located inside.
8:24 AM, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Webster Street for a report of an animal attacking another animal. Officers are investigating the incident and animal control has been made aware of the occurrence.
3:01 PM, Officers responded to the 800 block of Glenwood Drive in response to a dog bite. The victim was taken by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment. Animal control was advised of the incident and will be assisting with the investigation.
3:05 PM, Officers responded to the area of 3rd and Woodrow Street for a report of a subject brandishing a firearm. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers also conducted traffic stops, business checks, paper service, and followed up with numerous investigations.
