Six hundred Livingston County residents will soon receive juror questionnaires. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department delivered the notices to the US Post Office today for Jury Service from October 10th to February 12th.
By statute, Livingston County Circuit Clerk Jane Gann sends these notices to Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox and the sheriff is responsible to serve these.
Those receiving the notices are asked to follow the directions on completing the information. It is easiest to submit your information online. Anyone with questions needs to call the Circuit Clerks office at 660-646-8000 x1.
If you are selected from the pool of 600 to appear for jury duty, follow the instructions. When you appear you may not bring in any bags, purses, pocket knives, smartwatches, and cell phones. Proper dress is also required.
