Bid opening for a truck and doors were handled by the Chillicothe Board of Public Works Tuesday. CMU General Manager Matt Hopper says they received no bids for a 2021 or newer pick-up truck. He says, for now, they will hold off on another round of bid requests.
One bid was received for door replacements at the Water Treatment Plant on Waterworks Road. The bid for the doors was from Sargent’s Glass, totaling $29,450. That bid was accepted by the board. The current doors at the facility are about 70 years old.
