Replacement of the bridge just south of Third Street, west of Chillicothe, will require closing the road beginning Monday. Livingston County Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says the work will take a few months.
Douglas says the replacement of the bridge on LIV 235 is awarded to Chester Bros for $233,000. Douglas says the road is not heavily used, so the closing should not inconvenience many people. He says they hope the bridge will open before the end of the year.
