The contract for the painting of Chilli Bay pools was awarded to Custom Coatings of St. Charles, MO. Parks Director Josh Norris recommended the approval of the contract that included the alternative of joint replacement, rather than joint repairs.
The total on the contract, including the Joint Repairs, is $125,275. This is within the budgeted amount for the project.
Because the weather is a concern with the painting, Norris says the contractor plans to begin soon.
That work could start in as little as two weeks and is expected to be complete by November 5th.
