The Lady Hornets Softball team captured a trio of wins in the Chillicothe Softball Tournament on Saturday at Danner Park. They took down Maryville 17-3, the Panthers 9-3, and Macon 13-2.
Jolie Bonderer starred in the win over Maryville going 4 for 4 at the plate. She tallied 4 RBIs as well in the victory.
The Lady Hornets used a big 2nd inning to take down the Panthers. Hope Helton and Kinlei Boley contributed RBIs in the second that helped take control of the game.
Chillicothe took down Macon in their final game of the weekend thanks to 11 unanswered runs in the 4th and 5th innings.
Lady Hornets Softball is back in action on Tuesday when they host Cameron at 5 pm.
