The Lady Hornets Tennis team bounced back after Monday’s defeat in a strong 8-1 team win over Trenton Tuesday night.
In Doubles, Chillicothe’s Carpenter & Kieffer shut down Voorhies & Hall quickly 8-1. BeVelle & Pfaff did the same up the court beating Wright & Lee 8-2. Washburn & Garr fought tough in the #1 Doubles match falling 7-9.
In singles play, Crowe beat Lee 8-3. Kieffer beat Wright 8-3. BeVelle beat Hall 8-1. Garr beat Voorhies 8-2. Washburn beat Leninger 8-2. And in a tough, grueling, back-and-forth match, Carpenter beat Soriano 8-6.
In JV play, results were as follows:
Pfaff won in singles 6-0
Morgan won in singles 6-3
Crowe & Shira won doubles 6-0
Morgan & Thomas won doubles 6-3
George & Boon won doubles 6-2
Clark & Mathews won doubles 6-1
England & Shafiq won doubles 7-6 (tie break 7-2)
