Why does Popcorn Pop? The Lilian DeMarias Youth Library will have a program for students in grades Kindergarten through Second Grade on Thursday afternoon. The program will start at 3:30 and last one hour.
Children’s Library Director Jodi Moore says “Not all corn will pop when it’s heated.” K-2 students are invited to the Youth Library to learn why popcorn pops. She says they will, of course, enjoy a popcorn snack as well.
