The annual 4H enrollment began this week and will run through the end of November. Shawn Murphy, Livingston County Extension 4H Youth Specialist says the first step is to decide on which of the 12 clubs to join in Livingston County. He suggests checking with friends and family that are already in 4H
Murphy says those already in a 4-H club may switch to a different club if they choose. For those thinking about 4-H for the first time he says it’s not just about agriculture projects and farming.
There are also opportunities for social interaction and to develop leadership skills.
Cost to enroll is $20 for state dues and $1 for county dues. Enrollment runs now through December 1st.
