A self-serve fuel system for the Chillicothe Municipal Airport is moving into the design stage. City Administrator Roze Frampton presented the City Council with the engineering contract for the project.
The total cost of the project is $350,000. Under the MoDOT program, the city pays 10% of the total cost. Frampton says they have also received additional financial assistance on the project.
