Two accidents and two arrests are in the Chillicothe Police Department report for Wednesday.
At about 11:15 am, Officer responded to an accident in the 400 block of South Washington. One driver was attempting to turn into a parking lot and was struck from behind by another vehicle. No one was injured and minor damages were reported.
1:55 pm, Officers conducted an investigation in the 600 block of JFK for an incident that occurred in another jurisdiction. A report was sent to the Linn County Children’s Division.
At about 5:15 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 200 block of E. Polk St. Officers arrested Austin Estes on Lafayette County warrants for alleged Failure to Appear. He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail. Jennifer Redifer was arrested for alleged Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was cited and released.
About 7:40 pm, officers were called for a car deer accident. The driver said she struck three deer with her vehicle, near the east City Limits on 36 Highway. The driver was not injured.
8:10 pm, Officer checked area of Jackson Street Railroad Tracks for damage to a utility pole. They found a pole belonging to the phone company was broken. The company was notified.
10:50 pm, Officers responded to a possible trespassing incident in the 200 block of Herriman.
