Chillicothe’s Hayden Simmer and Kadence Shipers earned All Midland Empire Conference honors at the MEC Cross Country Meet. Simmer finished 13th in the boys race while Shipers finished 6th in the girls race.
The Boys team was sixth and the Girls team was 4th. Maryville boys and St Pius Girls won the team titles.
Other Chillicothe Boys finishers: Logan Asher 24th, Peyton Forck 32nd, Brady Bernskoetter 38th, Eric Kleinschmidt 46th, Stephen Parkes 47th and Tristian Forck 49th.
For the Chillicothe Girls: Emma Burk was 24th, Callaway Chapman 25th, Kathryn George 31st, Emery Evans 35, Mayanna Weed 39th and Emma Bernskoetter 42nd.
