The Chillicothe Police Department responded to several calls for service Monday. The report includes one arrest and two accidents.
At about 7:00 am, an Officer spoke with a resident on questions on a custody issue.
7:30 am, Officers checked an abandoned vehicle at US 36 & 65. The vehicle was off roadway.
9:30 am, Officers responded to the 300 Block of North Washington for report of a theft. They arrested Samuel William Buckley for alleged Stealing. Buckley was cited and released pending formal charges.
11:35 am, a two vehicle non-injury traffic accident was reported in the 1200 block of N. Washington St. A motorcycle driven by Jacob I. Brown collided with a van driven by George M. Stevens after Stevens pulled out in front of Brown from a private drive. Brown was cited for operating a motorcycle without a motorcycle license. Stevens was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
3:25 pm, Responded to parking complaint in 1300 block of Walnut St. They found construction equipment blocking the alley. The crew was advised to not block alley.
6:10 pm, Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 1st Street and Wilson Street, for an accident between James Keeney and Jeffrey Staton. There was minor damage to each vehicle and an accident report was completed.
7:30 pm, Officers responded to the area of Park Center on a report of someone wearing a Halloween mask and causing concern to employees of a business. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
