The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 103 calls for service Thursday. Some of the calls include:
8:15 am, Officers responded to the Chillicothe Middle School to speak with someone who was reporting having been assaulted near the intersection of Calhoun and Walnut the night before.
9:50 am, Officer received a report of possible child abuse that occurred in the 500 block of West Mohawk in Chillicothe.
1:10 pm, Officers responded to a business alarm in the 100 block of Walnut St.
3:20 pm, Officers spoke to a resident in 300 block of Cherry St about improper disposal of garbage.
6:40 pm, Officers responded to an alarm at a business in 500 block of S. Washington.
8:35 pm, Took a report of a speeding vehicle possibly hitting an animal in the area of Trenton Road and Alexander.

Thursday at about 12:05 am, Officer was northbound in the 1400 block of N. Washington Street when they observed a white Chevrolet travelling southbound that appeared to be speeding. The officer conducted a traffic stop was told the driver, identified as Michelle L. Ahl, had an active Chillicothe Warrant for alleged making a false report. Ahl was processed, posted bond and was released.
At about 9:50 pm, officers investigated a domestic disturbance at business in the 1000 block of S. Washington. There was no arrest due to disturbance, but officers arrested Whitney Hydorn for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia. She was processed, cited and released.
