The Bishop Hogan Middle School Basketball teams had a good start to the Jamesport tournament.
The Lady Eagles beat Grundy County 40 to 17. Bishop Hogan was led by Jessica Reeter with 13 points, Izzie Montgomery with 10, Delanie Kieffer with 8, Avery Baxter with 5 and Lilly Stedem and Kaylynn Cranmer with 2 each.
Also picking up playin6 time were Bryton BeVelle and Isabelle Witt.
The Bishop Hogan Boys beat Pattonsburg on Monday night. The final score was not provided.
James Mathew led Bishop Hogan with 14 points, Matty Douglas with 8, Jackson Reeter, Kaden Cranmer and Kyan Douglas with four each. Carson Sam had one and playing time for Cameron Williams.
Both Bishop Hogan teams return to tournament action on Thursday Night.
