The Chillicothe Police Department investigation of numerous stolen vehicles and other crimes in the month of October resulted in a few arrests.
As a result of the investigations, Police Chief Jon Maples says of the five vehicles that were stolen, four have been recovered, one trailer has been recovered, and another vehicle recovered in Chillicothe stolen from another jurisdiction.
The investigating officers received several tips on this investigation and through partnership with the community and the hard work and diligence of the officers, says they are closer to an end to the investigation.
Maples says they made three arrests. names have not been provided at this time, but He says they arrested a 25 year old man of Odessa, a 25 year old woman of Kansas City, both charged with theft of a motor vehicle with a bond of $20,000.00, and a 22 year old woman of Carrollton, charged with theft of a motor vehicle, burglary, and stealing with a bond of $20,000. He says there is also another person of interest in the investigation.
