The State of Missouri is nearly drought-free. The US Drought Monito shows Moderate Drought for 12% of the state, primarily in the southeast part of the state and a small pocket in Newton County in Southwest Missouri.
Abnormally Dry Conditions can be found in nearly 20% of the state. This includes areas in Southern Missouri, far Northwest Missouri, and a few counties in northeast Missouri.
The Drought Monitor shows 69.5% of Missouri with NO Drought.
