Concrete repairs on Missouri Route 5 in Marceline will close the road under the BNSF Railroad bridge beginning June 3. Capital Paving and Construction, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will also make concrete repairs on Missouri Route 5 in Chariton County under the Norfolk Southern Railroad bridge west of Salisbury beginning June 9.
The schedule for the project includes:
Linn County Route 5:
- CLOSED around the clock under the BNSF Railroad bridge in Marceline – June 3 to June 9.
- Traffic will be directed on US 36, Route 129, and Route WW around the closure.
Chariton County Route 5:
- CLOSED around the clock under the Norfolk Southern Railroad bridge west of Salisbury – June 9 to June 16.
- Traffic will be directed on Route 24, Route KK, and Route WW around the closure.
This is part of a project that includes the resurfacing of Chariton County Route 5, Linn County Route 5, and Missouri Route 41 in Carroll County.
