A new pick-up for the Chillicothe Parks Department was approved by the Chillicothe City Council. The City of Chillicothe advertised for bids to purchase a full-sized ½ ton 4×4 pick-up truck. They received only one bid. The bid was awarded to Max Curnow Chevrolet of Chillicothe, with a total of $58,295.
The truck is available for immediate delivery and only needs to have a running board kit installed.
Parks Director Josh Norris says the bid was under their budgeted amount for the truck.
