The Mayor of the City of Chillicothe, Missouri is now accepting applications to fill two board vacancies.
The first opening is on the Park and Recreation Board. This is to fill an expired term that expired on 6/9/2024. This is a four-year term appointment. The Parks and Recreation Board meets on the third Monday of each month, March through November, at City Hall.
The second opening is on the Chillicothe Board of Adjustments. This is to fill an expired term that expired on 6/13/2024. This is also a four-year term appointment. The Board of Adjustments meet on the first Monday of each month as needed at City Hall.
Any interested parties can pick up a board volunteer form at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 715 Washington Street, Chillicothe, Missouri or on the City’s website.
The deadline to submit an application is Thursday June 20, 2024, at 10 am.
