The Chillicothe Police Department received 92 calls for service on Friday June 14th some of the calls include
12:57 AM Officers encountered a suspect in the 200 block of Washington who was alleged to have tampered with a motor vehicle and had just stolen liquor from a business in the area. The juvenile suspect then resisted the officer’s detention by fleeing on foot during the encounter. The suspect was shortly thereafter taken into custody. The juvenile suspect was transported to a juvenile holding facility pending an investigation by the juvenile office.
01:15 PM Officers took a report of a tampered motor vehicle in the 400 block of Wilson. The vehicle had appeared to been broken into with an attempt to “hot wire” it. This is suspected to be related to another tampering case taken earlier in the day with the suspect already in custody.
08:02 PM Officers worked a two vehicle crash in the 200 block of BUS. 36 in which one vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. No injuries were reported.
