Sliced Bread Day activities this weekend will take place downtown, at the Grand River Historical Society Museum, and at the Sliced Bread Innovation Center.
Dustin Rennels from the museum says they will host the Bread Baking Contest, Sliced Bread Pageant, Heritage Day, and an Innovation Fair.
- The Heritage Day activities include Traditional Arts Demos, Olde Tyme Swap Meet, Vintage Cars, and More.
- The Bread Baking Contest is open to youth and adults, with 18 prizes to be awarded. Categories include Youth, Adult, Sweet, and Savory.
- The Sliced Bread Pageant is open to ages 0-18 and includes prizes and scholarship money.
- The Innovation Fair is open to ages 4-18 and includes scholarship money and 3 awards.

Friday there will be a Kick-off concert at Silvermoon Plaza.
Saturday, Amy Supple From the Chillicothe Visitor’s Region says there will be activities at the Sliced Bread Innovation Center on 1st Street.
