Ninety-six calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday.
At 856 a.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Washington for a forgery investigation. Officers continue working an extensive investigation.
At 1039 a.m. Officers responded to the 600 block of Webster for stealing. Officers are completing an extensive investigation into this crime.
At 428 p.m. Officers responded to the area of 36 Highway and 65 Highway for an injury accident. Officers located an overturned semi-truck and trailer. Officers located the driver who was treated for minor injuries on scene. An extensive clean up of the accident was completed by CFD and tow companies.
At 442 p.m. Officers responded to 1800 Clay Street for a possible stealing. Officers spoke with a subject who had been given permission by the codes officers to remove items from the home.
At 646 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Mohawk to assist Linn County with a trespassing complaint. Officers located a person to make them aware that they have been trespassed from Linn County and were not allowed back.
At 812 p.m. Officers assisted the Johnson County Kansas Sheriff’s Department with a runaway juvenile. Officers located the juvenile and contacted the parents. The parents responded to the Police Department and the juvenile was released into their custody.
