Two Serious Injury Crashes In Area Counties

Two serious injury crashes in the area counties over the weekend were investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Saturday in Daviess County, a Chillicothe woman was on a mini-bike and crashed, resulting in serious injuries.  She was flown to Truman Medical Center for treatment.  Thirty-four-year-old Jennifer Reynolds was riding the mini bike on private property when the bike overturned and came to rest on top of her.  She was not wearing a helmet.

In Caldwell County on Sunday, A Wyoming man had serious injuries in a rollover crash on US 36 near Hamilton.  At about 4:35 am, 33-year-old Chance Summers was westbound and ran off the south side of the road.  According to the report, he overcorrected, when off the north side of the road and his pick-up overturned, coming to rest on its top.  Summers was flown to Liberty Hospital for treatment.  He was wearing a safety belt.
