Eighty-nine calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday. Some of the calls include:
At 11:42 am, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Alexander for a domestic disturbance. The suspect had left the scene. Officers completed an investigation for domestic assault.
At 12:15 pm, Officers responded to the 700 block of Webster for a domestic assault report that happened on a previous date. The investigation continues.
At 1:28 pm, a bike that had been previously reported stolen was recovered by Chillicothe officers. The bike was returned to the owner. The investigation continues.
At 5:45 pm, Officers responded to the area of Jackson and Elm to check the well-being of a person who seemed confused. Officers located the subject a short time later and her caretaker. She was returned home with her family.
At 8:07 pm, Officers responded to the 300 block of Vine for a possible runaway juvenile. Officers located the juvenile a short time later. They were released to their parents.
Officers also conducted several traffic stops, animal control calls business checks, vehicle checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
