Bids and setting the date for a tax rate hearing are on the agenda for the Chillicothe R-II School Board. The meeting is Tuesday at 5:00 pm at the District Office. The meeting will begin with a review of recent work on the Chillicothe Elementary School expansion project. There will also be discussions about the project finances.
Work scheduled on the site for late July and August will be discussed, including the library, SSI furnishings, and the punch list.
The board will consider the consent agenda and financial reports.
Bids will be presented for bread, dairy, and fuel.
The board will set the date for a special meeting, prior to the regular meeting on August 20th. The special meeting will begin at 4:45 pm to hold the annual tax rate hearing.
