The Chillicothe Police Department reminds area residents of street closings Friday and Saturday.
Friday, the streets around the Livingston County Courthouse will be closed for the annual Cruise Night. The cruise will start at 7:00 pm and the cars will begin lining up around 5:00 pm on Webster, Jackson, and on Locust Street from Clay to Webster.
The Cruise of cars from downtown will leave about 7:00 pm and follow the traditional route, north on Washington Street to visit the nursing homes in the northern part of the community. This will include Park Lane, Fairway, Highway 190, and the Baptist Home Drive.
Roads in Simpson Park will close early Saturday. The closings will include the main entrance on Washington Street, the Walnut Street entrance, and closing access to the lower park at the Pickle Ball Courts. Very limited handicapped parking will be available through the Walnut Street entrance.
