The Chillicothe 8th Grade Girls Basketball “A” Team beat Savannah 36 to 16 led by Kinlei Boley with 15 points, Bre Pithan with 11, Hope Helton 4, Kirsten Dunn, Aliyah Briner and Cali Burkhardt with 2 points each. The “B” Team game ended in a 9-all tie.
The Chillicothe 8th Grade Boys Basketball “A” Team improved to 5-0 with a 56-40 win over Savannah, thanks to outscoring Savannah 21-10 in the first quarter.
Chillicothe was led by Cayden Potter with 16, Griff Bonderer with 14, Wyatt Brandsgaard with 12, Isaiah Sprong with 8, Landon Winder 4, Gabe Hansen with 2 and playing time for Carson Steele, Clayton and Parker Savage, Trent Keith, Gabe Kiel and Sam Reeter.
The 8th Grade Boys “B” team lost to Savannah 26-21.
