Chillicothe Police Officers conducted traffic stops and responded to 83 calls for service Wednesday.
At 2:33 p.m., Officers took a report of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash in the 400 block of Park Ln. The investigation is ongoing.
At 3:29 p.m., Officers took a report of a deceased person in the 300 block of Park Ln. Officers were assisted by the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services and the Livingston County Coroner’s Office.
At 4:08 p.m., Officers arrested a 42-year-old male on an active warrant for a parole violation in the 600 block of S. Washington St. The male was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
At 7:02 p.m., Officers arrested a 38-year-old male for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license and a 23-year-old female for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on S. Washington St. at U.S. 36 Hwy. The male was processed at the Police Department and released pending a court appearance. The female was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center and placed on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of formal charges.
