The Chillicothe Police Department conducted traffic stops and received 88 calls for service on Thursday.
At 7:00 am, an officer was working traffic overtime when he observed a 39 year old male who possessed several active warrants in the 1300 block of Third Street. The male went back into the residence in an attempt to elude the officer. The officer made contact with the homeowner and located the suspect, arresting the suspect on scene on the active Livingston County arrest warrants for possession of a controlled substance and driving while revoked. The male was processed and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
At 11:30 am, an Officer was working traffic and conducted a car stop in the 2900 block of N. Washington Street. Upon further investigation, the officer arrested a 27 year old male for driving while suspended. The male was processed and released pending a court appearance.
At 8:15 pm, Officers responded to the 300 block of JFK Avenue in reference to a call of an individual driving a mini bike carelessly. Officers located the individual and discovered it was a juvenile. Officers located the parents of the juvenile and advised of the issues and he was turned over to the parents.
At 10:45 pm, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of Washington Street for a speeding violation. Upon further investigation, officer arrested a 19 year old male for operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license and excessive speed. The male was processed and released pending a court appearance.
