A contract for Railroad Engineering for the City of Chillicothe was approved by the City Council. City Administrator Roze Frampton says the city has several railroad projects that will require specialized engineering services.
In the new Industrial Park.
Frampton says the contract with McClure Engineering for engineering services is NOT for specific projects.
For general railroad engineering, with additional contracts for specific projects.
She says this is similar to how the city does engineering for street projects.
McClure may also be able to help the city in applying for grant funds on railroad projects.
