Two Norborne residents had moderate injuries in a crash with a dump truck Monday morning in Ray County. State Troopers report 72-year-old Hillis Wheeler was westbound on 210, near Profitt Road. A westbound dump truck slowed to make a left turn and Wheeler ran into the back of the truck. Wheeler and his passenger, 72-year-old Jacquelyn Hall of Norborne were both taken to North Kansas City Hospital with moderate injuries. The truck driver was not injured. They were all wearing safety belts.
