Daviess County voter turnout for the Primary Election was 31.96% or 1,747 ballots cast.
There were two contested races for County Office in Daviess County, all were on the Republican Ballot. They include:
Daviess County Sheriff
Larry E Adams, Jr received 1,335 votes
Jason Melton had 194 votes.
Adams is the winner and is unopposed in the November election.
For Daviess County Collector/Treasurer
Lacey Corwin received 1,245 votes
Emily Cornett Smith had 234 votes
Corwin is the winner and has no opponent in the November election.
