A driver has minor injuries after falling asleep early Thursday morning. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 38-year-old Alejandro M. Menendez of Fultondale, AL was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital with minor injuries that resulted from a crash on Highway 5 in Linneus. The report states the accident occurred around 3:50 am, when Menendez fell asleep while driving.
